The Department of Geography and Regional Science and the UN certified Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (RCE) Graz-Styria at the University of Graz have experience in urban and regional development by applying a transdisciplinary approach in research, teaching and lifelong learning, and have conducted a large number of research projects on local, regional, national and European levels as well as applied research for communities and cities.
The RCE Graz-Styria is the Austrian coordinating partner of the SmarterLabs project and analysis the Graz Living Lab experiment.
