Pro Velo Ticino

Pro Velo Ticino is one of the major partners involved in the Bellinzona Living Lab experiment. It represents the Ticino Canton branch of the Swiss Bicycle Advocacy Association Pro Velo, an independent non-profit organization with more than 30,000 members throughout Switzerland. Its purpose is to advocate and promote cycling for everyday activities such as commuting, shopping and recreation.
Pro Velo Ticino was founded in 2010 and since then was active in defense of the interests of bicycle users, promoting actions aimed at making the bike a safer and more pleasant means of transport in urban areas.
